Fox has raised more than $50K since 2023

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – A mother of two Rising Sun students is continuing her initiative to improve school safety.
Following the Tennessee school shooting in 2023, Abby Fox dedicated herself to preventing a similar situation from ever occurring at Rising Sun Schools.
She launched a fundraiser called ‘One Sunny Day’ with the goal of raising $40,000 to install motion-sensor cameras at the schools.
The small town of 2,500 people responded in a big way and she was able to raise $45,000 in the first year to get the cameras installed.
Fast forward to 2025, Abby and her family own Fox Farms which recently had their sunflower field reach full bloom.
It's called 'Rising Sunflowers' and the free admission event also had a donation box. Any funds received were dedicated to the initiative for school safety.
Fox recently stopped by the school and handed them a $740 check from donations received at the field.
Altogether, One Sunny Day has raised $51,000 since 2023 and Fox has no plans on stopping the fundraiser anytime soon.
