Rising Sun's sunflower field is in bloom and free to attend!

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – Sunflower season is underway at Fox Farms in Rising Sun! 

The sunflower field will only be in bloom for about two weeks so don’t hesitate to attend. 

It is free admission but there is a donation box. Any donations go toward One Sunny Day, which is an initiative by Abby Fox to give funds to Rising Sun Schools for school safety measures. 

Anyone can stop by and pick sunflowers or also host their own photography session. 

For those who want to cut sunflowers, Fox asks that you bring your own shears and cut from the back of the patch so that the field looks full from the highway. 

There are also benches that were provided by the City of Rising Sun. The sunflower patch is located at 6125 State Road 56 in Rising Sun.
