Rising Sun sunflower field in full bloom

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – Sunflower season is underway at Fox Farms in Rising Sun! 

The sunflower field will only be in bloom until about August 15 so don’t hesitate to attend. 

It is free admission but there is a donation box. Any donations go toward One Sunny Day, which is an initiative by Abby Fox to give funds to Rising Sun Schools for school safety measures. 

Anyone can stop by and pick sunflowers. Professional photographers are asked to message Abby in advance which you can do so by clicking here.

“If you would like a stem or two, you’re welcome to grab them- FREE. Please trim from the back of the field,” Abby said. 

A sunflower growth chart is a new addition this year and it was painted by Rising Sun artist Amberly King.

There are also benches that were provided by the City of Rising Sun. The sunflower patch is located at 6125 State Road 56 in Rising Sun.
