Salvation Army in Ripley Co. seeking bell ringers

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Salvation Army in Ripley County is seeking volunteers to ring the bell this holiday season.
The annual Red Kettle Campaign will kick off on November 27 and all money raised in Ripley County stays in the county.
The funds go toward helping others who are struggling with basic needs like food, rent and utility payments throughout the year.
“The Salvation Army has assisted 53 households, 129 individuals so far this year who are in a crisis situation and we need your help to be able to continue that assistance in 2027,” said Ripley County Kettle Coordinator Steve Miller.
