Seminar discussed Medicaid and health coverage

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A recent seminar provided an opportunity to understand Medicaid and health coverage. 

The Lunch & Learn was held in Lawrenceburg last week and there were approximately 60 people who attended. 

Providers such as Anthem, CareSource and Managed Health Service were among those that spoke along with SIEOC and Covering Kids and Families.

HIP Work Requirements

Town Hall presentation and additional information about the upcoming HIP work requirements are available on the Indiana FSSA HIP Work Requirements webpage. FSSA will continue to update these pages as additional information becomes available.

Create a FSSA Benefits Portal account and check it monthly

Having an online account will be especially important as these changes take effect. Encourage the people you work with to create an account and make a habit of checking it at least once a month for notices, updates, and requests for information.

The pre-screening tool can help individuals determine whether they may be subject to or exempt from the HIP work requirements.

Reviewing Letters and Notices

Individuals can access letters and notices related to their benefits through the FSSA website. Encouraging people to regularly check their Benefits Portal is an important step in making sure they don't miss important correspondence or requests for information.
