Services announced for husband and wife killed in crash

(MILAN, Ind.) – Services have been announced for the Milan couple that was tragically killed when their vehicle was struck by a pickup on Friday. 


The crash claimed the lives of Jordan and Sierra Walters, both 33, while their two young boys were injured and hospitalized for two days.


Jordan was a 2011 South Ripley graduate who served in the National Guard between 2015 and 2022. He served in a Utilities Equipment Repair Unit and received several medals for his service to the country. 


He went on to work as a UPS driver and was heavily involved in coaching youth sports. 


Sierra was a 2011 Jac-Cen-Del graduate who operated an in-home daycare where her children affectionately knew her as Ci-Ci. 


“She enjoyed taking the boys to their ball games, the library, and Sierra excelled in doing crafts,” family members said.


Jordan and Sierra were married on September 22, 2018 and their two boys are ages 6 and 4. 


The visitation will be held at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17. 


Funeral services for both Jordan and Sierra will be held at Versailles Baptist Church Family Life Center at 11 .m. on Thursday, June 18.
