South Dearborn coach recognized by officials for sportsmanship

(AURORA, Ind.) – South Dearborn’s head football coach is being recognized by game officials. 

Rand Ballart was recognized with an Exemplary Behavior Report by the officiating crew.

“He was willing to work together to ensure we had a positive experience tonight. Coach Rand did a great job coaching his players and promoting a positive environment,” a reported filed with the IHSAA stated. 

The officials added that he showed excellent sportsmanship and they would be happy to have his team in the future. 

The Knights held on to beat Richmond 35-28 on Friday.
