Their mission is helping disabled veterans with home repairs

(INDIANAPOLIS) – A South Dearborn graduate is hoping to raise awareness about an organization dedicated to disabled veterans.
Maggie Granatir is in medical school at Marian University and will be a physician in the Air Force after she graduates next year.
She is the president of the Purple Heart Homes Indianapolis Chapter, which is led by students from the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Purple Heart Homes is dedicated to providing much-needed home repairs and accessibility modifications to disabled veterans in Indianapolis.
Granatir is hoping more people in our area become aware of the organization.
She also hopes people can support the cause by making a donation, donating supplies or sponsoring a veteran’s project.
Maggie added that Purple Heart Homes is dedicated to helping each disabled veteran live a fuller, more productive life.
If you would like to learn more about the organization you can email Granatir at mgranatir811@marian.edu.
