South Decatur donates to St. Mary's Honduras initiative

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – South Decatur students and teachers are supporting an international initiative by a local church.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg has an “Adopt-A-Village” initiative where they’ve built homes and supported less fortunate people in Honduras.
On Tuesday, South Decatur donated $1,151 to the program.
Fine Arts Teacher Matt Diehl coordinated the donation drive between the school and church.
St. Mary’s has a mission to raise $1 million for sustainable community development in the Cucuyagua area of Honduras. You can learn more about the program here.
