South Ripley JAG's 'Hoops for Hope' to support 2 nonprofits Friday

(VERSAILLES,. Ind.) – The South Ripley Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program is planning to give back to two local organizations on Friday.

JAG Specialist Sealy Hyatt and her students have organized ‘Hoops for Hope Night’ which will benefit Safe Passage as well as Habitat for Humanity.

Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to the game which will then be donated to Safe Passage.

The students will also be collecting funds to be given to Habitat for Humanity in Madison.

There will also be a silent auction, Free Throw for a Cause Contest and a pledge banner signing for healthy relationships at the Safe Passage table.

It takes place during the Raiders home game against South Dearborn on February 13.
