(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A women’s faith-based recovery organization in Greensburg is receiving statewide recognition.
The Speranza House has been named Indiana’s Recovery Residence of the Year by Mental Health America of Indiana.
The non-profit saw a 34 percent increase in clients in 2025 and the program has made a positive difference.
They achieved just a 2 percent recidivism rate which is the lowest in Speranza House history.
Also, their 12 percent relapse rate in 2025 is well below the national average and is the lowest in their history.
“None of this would be possible without our generous donors, supportive community members, hardworking residents, and dedicated staff,” the Speranza House said.
The mission of the Speranza House is to provide a nurturing, sober, home-like environment to women who are struggling with addiction.
