St. Anthony's Labor Day Fest includes straw maze, $20K raffle

(MORRIS, Ind.) – The annual St. Anthony’s Labor Day Festival will have a new attraction this year. 

They are setting up a straw maze which will be in addition to the full day of fun for the entire family. 

Some other activities include kids games, face painting, a beer garden and more. 

This year's grand raffle tops $20,000 in cash, gold, silver and prizes.

Their famous fried chicken will once again be prepared and served by volunteers using a time-honored recipe, with half and whole chickens available. 

"Dine in, carry out or drive thru; whatever works best for you. And for added convenience, we're now accepting debit and credit cards on site," organizer Vanessa Beetz said.

Guests can relax with friends in the beer garden while enjoying live entertainment from Elvis tribute singer Mike Davis, performing from noon to 2 p.m.

The 109th St. Anthony’s Labor Day Festival kicks off at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 7. 

The church is located at 4781 E Morris Church St. in Morris.
