St. John's UCC Penntown to host freewill chicken dinner

(PENNTOWN, Ind.) – The community is invited to a fried chicken dinner at St. John’s United Church of Christ on Sunday, June 14. 

The annual Homecoming celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 8917 East County Road 1300 North in Sunman. 

The meal will include 3 pieces of fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, cole law, applesauce, pike and cake. 

It is a free-will offering. 

St. John’s UCC Penntown was founded in 1841 and services are held at 10:30 a.m. Sundays and there is also Adult and Kids’ Sunday School.
