New event will recognize Franklin Co. first responders

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – A new event in Franklin County will recognize those who answer the call when every moment matters. 

The inaugural Franklin County First Responder Appreciation Program will take place at the Franklin County 4-H Building from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, August 1. 

“The program will provide local public safety agencies with an opportunity to recognize members of their organizations for longevity, heroic or lifesaving actions, and other noteworthy accomplishments,” said organizer Nicholas Wall. 

Wall added, “It will also provide members of the community with an opportunity to personally express their appreciation to those who serve.”
