St. Mary's students to host pet adoption event Sunday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – St. Mary’s Student Council members are teaming up with the Greensburg Decatur County Animal Shelter for a pet adoption event on Sunday, October 4.

It will be held from 11-2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 1331 East Hunter Robbins Way in Greensburg.

There will be animals available for same-day adoption and attendees are also asked to bring donations for the shelter such as cat litter, canned cat and kitten food, and dog and cat toys.

Each donation and adoption will result in a gift certificate to a food truck that will be onsite during the event.
