A Flood Flood Warning is in effect for Switzerland County until 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
"Several rounds of additional thunderstorms will produce rainfall rates of 1 inch per hour on top of saturated ground. Life-threatening flash flooding is possible," NWS forecasters said.
Other counties under the watch are Carroll, Gallatin and Owen counties in Kentucky.
As of 10:30 p.m., the storms have also led to some power outages in Jackson, and Jennings counties.
