(VEVAY, Ind.) – The Swiss Wine Festival kicks off this Thursday and will take place all weekend.
The well-known festival celebrates the county’s culture and heritage. In 1796, John James Dufour immigrated from Switzerland and established the first successful winery in America in Vevay.
The festival began back in 1968 and continues to offer family-friendly entertainment while attracting people from across the region.
Some popular activities this weekend will be wine and spirits tasting, the 5K river run/walk, a cornhole tournament, grape stomp competition, a drone show on Saturday night, arts and crafts, free concerts, and plenty of activities for the kids.
Artists who will perform include Falls City Boys, Rachel Holt, John Morgen Band, Past Our Prime Band and The Arena Rock Show.
