Switzerland Co. athlete named Becks Player With Heart in Indiana

(VEVAY, Ind.) - A Switzerland County athlete has been named a Beck’s Player With Heart for the month of September. 

Cale Collier plays soccer, cross country and basketball. He is also the vice president of the Switzerland County FFA Chapter.

Collier is also involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as 4-H. 

He has also given over 135 hours of volunteerism to his community.

During the 4-H fair, he donated one of his pigs to be auctioned off with proceeds to benefit a family in need. 

Collier says agriculture has been a big part of his life and has helped him learn the importance of hard work and responsibility. 

He is one of two student-athletes in Indiana to receive the Becks Player With Heart award this month.
