Switzerland Co. Foundation providing grants to nonprofits impacted by cuts

(VEVAY, Ind.) – The Community Foundation of Switzerland County is hoping to provide relief to nonprofits that have been impacted by federal or state funding cuts. 

Nonprofits that can show that state or federal funding cuts impacted their operating budget can apply for a grant of up to $10,000. 

General Operating Support grants are flexible and can be used to support an organization’s ongoing administrative costs and/or to maintain existing, valuable programs that benefit Switzerland County residents.

Eligible organizations are 501(c)(3) who have been around for at least two years, has at least one paid employee, provides services directly to Switzerland County and would spend the grant funds on expenditures that benefit Switzerland County residents.
