Three accidents on I-74 in Greensburg Monday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Three crashes occurred on I-74 in Decatur County on Monday.
Decatur County deputies say a pickup truck merged into the right lane and struck another pickup hauling a camper trailer.
Both vehicles entered the median and struck the cable barrier, where the camper trailer overturned.
One of the drivers was flown to an Indianapolis hospital due to his injuries.
That accident led to another crash as a Brookville man ran into a semi that was stuck in that traffic jam.
“The crash is believed to have been caused by driver distraction and failure to observe stopped traffic in time,” Decatur County deputies said.
Authorities added that two emergency vehicles also ran into each other while responding.
