Two athletes nominated for Indy Star Player of the Week

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Two local student-athletes have been nominated for Indy Star Player of the Week. 

Greensburg’s Mya Comer has been nominated for volleyball player of the week. She had 99 assists, 16 kills, seven aces and 42 digs through 11 sets. 

Comer also cleared 30 assists in two of her first three matches of the season, including 33 over East Central and 39 against Triton Central. 

Comer is also closing in milestones for career assists and career digs.

East Central running back Ryan Minges has been nominated for IHSAA Football Player of the Week.

Minges had 25 carries for 171 yards and three touchdowns over Lawrenceburg on Friday. His play helped the Trojans cruise to a victory over the Tigers.
