(NEW YORK CITY) – Two local girls had the opportunity to see themselves on the big screen in Times Square this weekend!
14-year-old Macey Benjamin and 7-year-old Kailynn Little are cousins who have participated in pageants for several years.
Macey is from Batesville and Kailynn is from Franklin County.
Earlier this year, they both earned national titles in their respective age divisions during a competition in Orlando.
It led the pageant organization known as Authenticque Beauties to invite the two cousins to New York City for Fashion Week which began on September 11.
While in New York, Macey and Kailynn walked the runway for Supermodels Unlimited Magazine, took part in a professional branding photoshoot, and also had a professional photographer capture them at several NYC landmarks.
They also were featured on a digital billboard which both Macey and Kailynn got to see for themselves in person!
Beyond pageantry, both Macey and Kailynn have been active in their communities by giving back. They have handed our socks to the homeless, delivered snacks to police officers, and have donated treats to patients at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Here are some photos from Macey and Kailynn's time in New York City:
