Versailles Farm & Garden launched Back-to-School drive for needy children

 (VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Versailles Farm & Garden has launched an initiative ahead of the upcoming school year. 

The locally-owned business is hosting a Back-To-School Drive now through the end of July. 

They are accepting items such as school supplies and hygiene products for children who are in need. There is a list of items being accepted below. 

“We believe every child deserves the tools to learn, grow, and thrive—no matter their circumstance,” said Versailles Farm & Garden manager Sydney Gabbard. 

Items can be dropped off during store hours which are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Monday through Friday, Saturday’s from 8-4 and Sunday’s from 10-4. 

“This is our first year doing this and we really hope for a great turn out! Everything donated will be given to local schools,” Gabbard added.
