Veteran Army of Decatur County to host cookout

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A new nonprofit in Decatur County that assists military veterans is planning an event. 

The Veteran Army of Decatur County will host a cookout fundraiser from 9-3 p.m. on Friday, July 17. It will be held at 1803 North Lincoln Street (Suite A) in Greensburg. 

This nonprofit offers a wide range of services to veterans including assistance with daily tasks, health resources, community outreach programs and counseling. 

“100 percent of the money donated goes right back to the Vets. We have no advertising or administrative cost that is funded by the donation,” they said.
