Westport Kiwanis, firefighters team up for community breakfast Saturday

(WESTPORT, Ind.) – A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be held in Westport on Saturday, August 9. 

It is being hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Westport in collaboration with the Westport Volunteer Fire Department. 

It is a free-will donation breakfast with proceeds supporting both the Kiwanis as well as the fire department. 

“The Kiwanis Club of Westport will direct its portion toward programs supporting local youth and its continued partnership with Riley Children’s Hospital. The Westport Community Volunteer Fire Department will use its share to assist with equipment needs, training, and emergency response efforts,” organizers said. 

It will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be held at the Westport Fire Department which is located at 302 E. Bennett Street.
