(ITALY) – The Winter Olympics features one Indiana native and he happens to be from Lawrenceburg.
Nick Goepper is competing in his fourth Winter Olympics after winning slopestyle medals in 2014, 2018 and 2022.
The 31-year-old briefly retired in 2023 before reinventing himself and qualifying for the U.S. men’s halfpipe team.
Goepper has to wait until toward the end of the Winter Games before his event begins.
The Freeski Halfpipe competition will take place on Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20. The finals will air at 7 p.m. on NBC that Friday.
