Woman going to prison for selling drugs out of Greendale hotel

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) — A woman who pleaded guilty to selling drugs out of a Dearborn County hotel is going to prison. 

64-year-old Teresa Todd has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to selling cocaine and marijuana out of a room at the Quality Inn & Suites in Greendale. 

She has also been sentenced to two years of supervised probation following her release from prison.

“The evidence established that Todd supplied crack cocaine to as many as 20 individuals per day and made regular, near-daily trips to Cincinnati to obtain larger quantities of cocaine, which she divided into smaller amounts for resale,” said Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens. 

Investigators say Todd’s criminal history spans nearly 40 years and she had conducted the drug-selling operations with her adult daughter. 

“This was a sustained drug-trafficking operation that supplied crack cocaine to numerous people on a daily basis,” Prosecutor Lynn Deddens said. “Todd’s extensive criminal history, the scale of her dealing operation, and her repeated failures under supervision warranted a substantial executed sentence.”

Todd received credit for 459 actual days served which is 153 days of good-time credit. 

Upon her release from incarceration, she will serve two years of supervised probation

through the Dearborn-Ohio Counties Probation Department.
