(COLUMBUS, Ind.) – Are you free this weekend and like to play basketball?

A 3-on-3 basketball tournament will held for students and adults at Columbus North. 

The tournament has been organized by three Columbus North seniors and proceeds support the Kole Shewmaker Foundation. 

Kole was a 16-year-old who loved basketball. He passed away after a car crash in November 2023. 

“He played for many teams over the years. Kole worked very hard at basketball and spent countless hours with his dad honing his craft,” his family said. 

The 3-on-3 tournament has age groups from 3rd grade to adults! 

It takes place beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 28. You can register by clicking here.

There will also be a girls basketball development camp in honor of Kole Shewmaker on October 5.
