(AURORA, Ind.) – The Aurora Aquatic Center is providing free swimming due to the extreme heat.
The pool has announced that they will offer free admission to Aurora residents for the rest of the week. All children, including non residents, can attend for free as well.
Officials said they will also offer extended hours as long as lifeguards are available. The pool is located at 244 City Park Circle and you check their Facebook page daily for hours.
They added that strollers, carriers or any other baby equipment will not be allowed in the pool area.
"We care about the safety and well-being of all children and appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a safe environment," they said.
In a few weeks, Aurora Main Street will host a community pool event with food and games from 6-8 p.m. on July 22.
