(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville alum will now serve as assistant principal at Batesville Middle School.
Austin Glaub graduated from BHS in 2014 and has held various leadership roles at Bartholomew Consolidated Schools in Columbus for the past seven years.
“BMS is an incredibly special place to me,” Glaub said. “It nurtured my love of learning as a student, was the site of my first job as a custodian, and provided some of my first classroom experience as a substitute teacher. It's a privilege to be called to serve the community that has given me so much. I'm excited to get to work.”
Batesville Middle School Principal Dave Strouse said he is excited to welcome Glaub to the school.
“His past work with students from all kinds of backgrounds makes him a great fit to continue the collaborative environment we’ve established at our school,” Strouse said.
Glaub replaces Justin Tucker who accepted a principal position in Rushville this summer.
