Batesville High School names Bulldog Ready student ambassadors

ree

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville High School has named 20 sophomores who will serve as Bulldog Ready Ambassadors.

The students will represent new career pathways that have been launched by the school.

“Instead of the school administration, these students—who have exhibited a passion for their selected pathways—will lead tours for community groups or businesses that want to learn more,” said Bulldog Ready coordinator Kyle Laker.

All BHS sophomores were given the opportunity to apply to become an ambassador for one of the following pathways: Agriculture, Engineering, Skilled Trades, Digital Technology, Business, Human Services, Health Sciences, or Transportation.

After the application and interview process, the following students were selected: Ryan Benz, Isaac Butz, Madi Dierckman, Eli Doll, Reagan Flaspohler, Lylah Fox, Winston Garrett, Molly Gesell, Coleton Grubb, Kaitlyn Huber, Maggie Jelinek, Adelyne Koehne, Lily Lang, Addison McGuire, Cora Miller, Katie Moenter, Jackson Peetz, Ronan Post, Iris Ruf, and Payton Yorn.

“What we love about this program is that it allows students to become leaders because their interest and passion for their selected pathway shine through. We will be immersing them in the history and development of the Bulldog Ready initiative while cultivating their professional skills,” said Rose Wilde, BHS English teacher and Bulldog Ready Community Coach.
