(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Authorities are searching for a Batesville man who has allegedly violated a court-order numerous times.
Prosecutors say the case involves an ex-husband contacting his ex-wife after she filed for divorce earlier this year.
Andy West pled guilty to Intimidation and Invasion of Privacy in August and was ordered to attend a rehabilitation facility in California.
The sentencing also included a No Contact Order with his ex-wife.
West allegedly contacted his ex-wife while in California and was arrested in connection to those charges on September 11.
However, Ripley County’s Superior Court did not extradite him back to Indiana. West was released from custody on September 18.
Ripley County Prosecutor Ric Hertel said that the probable cause affidavits state that West has illegally contacted his ex-wife at least three times since he has been released.
The whereabouts of West are currently unknown, which is a concern to Hertel as well as law enforcement.
“He could be anywhere and has the means to do so,” Hertel said.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Andy West, please contact your local police department or 9-1-1.
