Inaugural classic film festival in Greenburg in April

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County will host a film festival in April.
The inaugural Tree City Classic Film Festival will be held at Wolf Theaters from April 10-12.
There will be a special guest as actress Dee Wallace, who starred in “ET” and “The Howling”, will participate in two question-and-answer forums. Autographs and selfies will be available for an additional charge.
Local film historian Ryan Maddux will be the host for the event. Admission will be $10 for the Dee Wallace events and all other showings are free.
Here are the 10 films that will be shown:
Notorious – Friday 4:00
“City Lights”-Silent Movie With Live Musical Accompaniment Friday 7:00
The Searchers – Friday 8:30 PM
The Thomas Crown Affair – Saturday 11:30 AM
“E.T.” – Saturday 2:00
Breaking Away – Saturday 5:15
“The Howling” — Saturday 8:00
Singin in the Rain – Sunday 12:30
When Harry Met Sally – Sunday 3:00
Casablanca – Sunday 6:00
Also included will be the Charlie Chaplin silent classic "City Lights" with live musical accompaniment by Roger Lippencott.
Since 1995, the Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County has helped shape a more vibrant and connected community by supporting local artists and creating opportunities for people to experience and participate in arts and cultural programs over the years.
