(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville freshman needs your votes as she competes in a national contest.
Genevieve Comer is competing to be “Bob Ross’s America’s Most Artistic Kid!” and is currently ranked second in her group.
One young artist will be voted as America's Most Artistic Kid. They will win $20,000, appear on an episode of The Joy of Painting with Nicholas Hankins, and have their art displayed at the Minnetrista Museum.
Genevieve works mostly in watercolors, digital drawing and pencil work. Her artwork is described as eclectic and whimsical.
“She shows such a breadth of emotion in each drawing and painting. Whether she is portraying joy, pain, sadness, or wonder the viewer always takes an emotional journey with her in her art,” her family said.
The voting contest takes place until February 26. You can learn more about Comer and vote by clicking here.
