Big Cedar Road to remain closed for next few months

(CEDAR GROVE, Ind.) – The Franklin County Highway Department said Big Cedar Road will continue to be closed for the next few months.

The road suffered major damage due to flooding between U.S. 52 and Possum Hollow Road earlier this month.

The highway department is currently working to obtain funding to make the necessary repairs.

“We understand this may cause inconvenience or hardship, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the roadway and ensure long-term safety for the community,” stated the Franklin County Highway Department.
