Busse's Farm has vegetables and sunsets available this weekend

(AURORA, Ind.) – A local farm that operates on the honor system is open this weekend with fresh vegetables and sunsets!
Busse’s Farm in Aurora is a self-pay operation that has been in business for more than 30 years by Margaret and Wayne Busse.
Last weekend, a woman accidentally left her wallet on a table at the farm. A man was captured on surveillance camera taking the wallet from the table.
The man returned the stolen money, but not the wallet, to the woman a day later.
Busse's is open this weekend and hoping new customers stop by.
The farmstand has plenty of fresh vegetables now available, including bell peppers, banana peppers, cucumbers, onions, jalapenos and eggplant.
“We’re in a little lull with our sweet corn this week, a result of the overly rainy weather,” Wayne Busse said.
He also mentioned that the farm's popular tomatoes are not available yet, but will be soon.
“It hasn’t been the easiest growing season with the heat and rain, but we are so grateful for each of you who make the trip to the farm stand to support our farm,” he said.
Busse’s Farm is located at 7096 State Road 48 in Aurora. The farm happens to be at one of the highest points in Dearborn County.
“It makes for some of the most beautiful sunsets out at the farm,” he said.
The farm is open during the summer for vegetables, fruit and sunsets, while also offering pumpkin picking in the fall.
