Funds go toward equipment and training

(CHICO, CA.) – Some California high schoolers are helping to raise money for a first responder agency.
The Butte County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team is an all-volunteer unit that relies on donations for equipment and training.
They recently partnered with Pleasant Valley High School’s Industrial Arts and Engineering Program.
Students in the program designed insulated tumblers that are now for sale as a fundraiser.
We checked the website and the tumblers are close to selling out.
This would be a great idea for some local students to something like this for an area nonprofit!
