Chalktoberfest to take place in Osgood on September 20

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – The popular Chalktoberfest will take place in Osgood on Saturday, September 20. 

Launched in 2020, Chalktoberfest was created to encourage creative expression and celebrate the artistic talents of local students. 

The event will now be open to artists of all ages for the first time ever. The competition will be split up in three different divisions: Middle School, High School, and Adul

The theme this year is “Around the World” which will challenge artists to explore global cultures, landmarks and ideas through chalk murals. 

Registration is now open, and local artists are encouraged to secure their spots soon, as space is limited to 15 participants. There are exciting prizes up for grabs, with cash awards for the top three junior high, high school, and adult winners.

It takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on South Walnut Street in Osgood. The event coincides with Bricktoberfest.
