(SUNMAN, Ind.) – A memorial procession for Charlie Kirk will take place in Sunman this weekend.
It is called “Charlie Kirk - For God and Country Memorial Procession” and will coincide with his funeral service in Arizona at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Jeeps and other vehicles are asked to meet next to the Sunman Community Park at 323 North Meridian Street.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive anytime after 12 p.m. and the procession will leave at 1 p.m.
The route will stay on main roads including State Road 101, State Road 48, State Road 129 and State Road 46, before arriving back in Sunman.
Due to being on state roads, off-road vehicles will not be permitted to join the precession.
Laura Eckstein is organizing the event with the hope it brings people together despite all the national division.
“It’s about riding in the spirit of love and togetherness. ‘Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins’ (1 Peter 4:8). May we ride in unity, with love for God, our country, and for one another,” Eckstein said.
She also encourages those along the route to show their patriotism as it passes by.
