(GUILFORD, Ind.) – The 3rd annual Tyler’s Ride will take place in Guilford on Sunday, June 28.
17-year-old Tyler Darringer was an East Central senior who passed away from his cancer battle in November 2024.
His family is continuing the Jeep and Side-by-Side ride in Tyler’s honor while giving back to another local family.
This year’s ride will support the family of 41-year-old Chad Bruce, who passed away unexpectedly last November.
Chad was a Trojan Youth Football coach and had a positive influence on many of the athletes as a mentor, role model and friend.
“Funds raised will help ease the financial burdens they now face and allow them the space and support they need during this incredibly difficult time,” benefit ride organizers stated.
Tyler’s Ride will begin and end at Eight Top Grill in Guilford with registration getting underway at 9 a.m.
The ride will leave at noon and it costs $25 per vehicle. There will also be a dinner, split the pot, baskets, raffle, vendors, and music by Craig Quick.
