(COLUMBUS, Ind.) – A Columbus North senior has delivered on his promise to help his local police department.
Jackson Brewer organized a community car show called “Cars for Cops” last month.
Brewer announced the proceeds would go to the Columbus Police Department and he also established a Go Fund Me to get donations.
His initiative has resulted in $3,200 being raised for the police department.
“We’re proud of Jackson’s hard work and his support for local law enforcement. He’s a great example of how young people can make a real difference,” stated the Columbus Police Department.
Brewer has a goal to one day become a police officer himself.
