(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Community members are being asked to honor a longtime Ripley County official on Tuesday.

74-year-old Ginger Bradford passed away last week.

The 1971 South Ripley graduate held multiple positions in Ripley County over the span of 32 years.

Bradford had served as county clerk, county recorder and was the Ripley County Republican Chairperson for 12 years.

She received the  Sagamore of the Wabash, Indiana’s highest civilian honor, in 2022.

Community members are being asked to line the sidewalks between the Ripley County Annex building and the courthouse at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4.

The timing coincides with her funeral procession.

Ripley County Commissioners are asking attendees to wear Ginger’s favorite color, Red, and to also hold American flags.
