Community invited to final walkthrough at Manchester Elementary on Monday

(MANCHESTER, Ind.) – Community members and former teachers and students are invited to “Final Walkthrough” at Manchester Elementary School on Monday. 

South Dearborn's School Board voted to close the elementary school last month due to declining enrollment, much-needed building repairs and new state legislation. 

The walkthrough will take place from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday. 

The school corporation says its an opportunity to reflect and celebrate the memories that were made there. 

Attendees are asked to enter the building through the front door off Ellinghausen Road.
