(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital has named an internal candidate for the role of Executive Director for Nursing and Operations.
Kristol Hadler began her career at DCMH as an EMT and paramedic. She later became a registered nurse and worked in the Emergency Department.
She then transitioned to Cancer Care where she served as Cancer Care Nurse Navigator and later as the Cancer Care Manager.
Hadler most recently served as Director of Outpatient Services where she provided oversight for multiple departments while helping drive operational improvements, support staff development, and strengthen collaboration across teams.
The hospital says her new role reflects her strong clinical and operational expertise, leadership and ability to drive meaningful performance outcomes.
“Throughout her career, Kristol has demonstrated impactful leadership by supporting staff, operational improvements, and ensuring exceptional clinical outcomes. I'm confident she will continue contributing to the success of DCMH in this new role,” said DCMH CEO Rex McKinney.
As Executive Director, Nursing and Operations, Hadler will continue providing leadership across all nursing services and operational functions while supporting DCMH's commitment to exceptional patient care, quality outcomes, and organizational excellence.
For Hadler, the opportunity is especially meaningful because it allows her to build upon the relationships and experiences she has developed throughout her career at DCMH.
"Having had the ability to serve patients in a variety of roles throughout my career, I've gained a unique perspective on the many ways our team impacts the lives of those we serve," said Hadler.
She added, "I'm grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to continuing to serve our community, support our staff, and strengthen collaboration across departments at DCMH."
Hadler's journey from frontline caregiver to executive leadership reflects DCMH's commitment to developing leaders from within and investing in the people who make exceptional care possible.
