(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital is launching a new pregnancy app.

It will provide expectant parents and families with access to convenient, reliable information and helpful tools throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and early parenthood.

The app was made possible by the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County and its donors to the Dr. McCullough Fund.

“Pregnancy and early parenthood are filled with exciting moments, new experiences, and plenty of questions,” said DCMH board-certified OBGYN Jamie Cooper, DO, FACOG. “Having access to a trusted resource, available 24/7, can help families feel more prepared for the journey ahead.”

The app is designed to support families beyond pregnancy, featuring evidence-based information about prenatal care, labor and birth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care, including helpful videos.

Families can also find information about what to expect during their hospital stay at DCMH, available classes, local support resources, and practical tools such as a kick counter, contraction timer, personal journal, and feeding log.

Resources are also available to support families experiencing pregnancy loss.

“Supporting the health of mothers and children helps build a healthier community,” said DCMH board-certified family medicine physician Mary McCullough, MD. “Healthy habits and good care during pregnancy and early childhood can help prevent long-term health problems and support lifelong wellness.”

Families can access the app through the mobile app or online. Registration is required before logging in and using the program.
