(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Dearborn County 4-H is receiving a $1,000 grant from the Dearborn Community Foundation (DCF).
The grant is part DCF’s annual initiative where each board member selects an organization they want to support.
DCF board member Bridget Davidson chose 4-H because it allows youth to explore their interests, build life skills and get involved in the community.
“4-H is the perfect choice for this grant because of the incredible impact it has on local youth through hands-on learning and mentorship,” said Davidson. “It's a program that truly makes a difference. Supporting it means investing in the future leaders of Dearborn County.”
Anyone can contribute to a DCF unrestricted endowment to help make impact grants like the 15 DCF Board members are recommending in 2025. For a list of the unrestricted endowments and to learn more about the Foundation, call 812-539-4115.
