Decatur Co. deputies conducting death investigation

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation. 

Around 12 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to perform a welfare check at a home on South County Road 60 Southwest in Greensburg. 

Police say 50-year-old Joshua Mark Taylor was found dead at the scene. 

“This is an on-going investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes  available,” Sheriff Bill Meyerrose said.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Indiana State Police, Greensburg Police, Decatur County Coroner, Decatur County EMS and Letts EMS.

Notification has been made to the family of Taylor.
