Decatur County YMCA names new executive director

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur Shelby County YMCA has named Brad Fox as their new executive director. 

Fox is a Greensburg native who had lived in Florida with hi family before returning home in 2014. 

He is involved in numerous community functions including mentoring and coaching. 

“Brad’s leadership, passion for people, and strong ties to the Greensburg community make him an excellent fit for this role,” said Mackenzie Pickerrell, CEO of the Decatur Shelby County YMCA. “His commitment to building strong teams and empowering individuals aligns closely with the YMCA’s mission to strengthen communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.”

In his role as Executive Director, Fox will oversee operations at the Decatur County Family YMCA, working alongside staff, members, and community partners to enhance programs, expand community impact, and continue creating a welcoming environment for all.

An Open House to meet Fox will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17. 

The event is open to YMCA members and the community and provides an opportunity to connect with Fox and welcome him into his new role.
