Donation drive launched following Clarksburg house fire

(CLARKSBURG, Ind.) – A donation drive has been launched following a house fire in Clarksburg over the Thanksgiving holiday. 

The home on North County Road 500 East was destroyed by the fire on Wednesday. 

The family involved has students that attend North Decatur which has led the school to launch a donation drive. 

Donations can be dropped off in the front office of North Decatur Elementary or NDHS this week. 

“In addition to this, we are also accepting any monetary donations, gift cards, etc. to help them during this difficult time,” North Decatur Elementary stated.   

Here are the clothing sizes that are needed:

Youth Sizes:

Boy:  Shirt size 10-12; Pant size 12

Boy:  Shirts and Pants kids size 8/medium

Girl:  Shirts and Pants kids size 7/8

Adult Sizes:

Female:  Large shirts; pants 10-11 long or medium leggings

Male:  Jeans size 36x32 or 38x32; large shirts

Male:  pants and shirts--XL

Female:  Medium or Large shirts; pants medium leggings
