Eastbound I-74 to be down to one lane near New Point

Expected to begin tonight

(NEW POINT, Ind.) – Traffic will be down to one lane on eastbound I-74 near New Point for the next couple weeks. 

Crews will be conducting bridge repairs between North County Road 600 East and South County Road 850 East just west of Exit 143.

The work is expected to begin tonight and will be complete in early July.

This project is part of a $3.2 million contract awarded to E&B Paving in February 2024.
